Report and archived run changes
Can you please consider adding the functionality to run reports on multiple runs, AND to tease out data from one archived run that should have been split into two?
5 votesThanks for the suggestion. We’ll consider adding this to our roadmap in the future.

Chat Feature?
Hi, I see the Chat feature discussion from 2015, but it doesn't fully address my needs. I'd like a CHAT feature in Poll Everywhere (PE) - just like Zoom has. In fact, that's the only reason I use Zoom over PE. The CHAT feature allows webinar participants an opportunity to ask questions, add comments, etc. Please incorporate this to Poll Everywhere. Thank you.
1 voteThanks! We’ve been looking into this as well and will keep you posted on our progress.

Let the payment info be associated with an email other than the one for the account
Hello! I work for a gov't agency, and only a few of us have company credit cards. Because the account and payment are tied to the account login info, I have to pester the account-holder for the payment receipt every month. Please make it so that either the billing info can go to a different email address, or make it so I can be cc'd on the receipt so I don't have to bother the manager for it when I go to balance my credit card statement. Thanks for your consideration!
1 voteWe plan on adding the ability to do this. You would need to contact our support team to be added but this is on our roadmap.

Incorporate an Icon Set
It would be great to have a native icon set (like Microsoft Office applications now have) so we can use icons or icons with text ifor poll answers. I know we can use emojis but they don't give a "serious" vibe like an icon set would.

save word cloud
After "clearing" results for Word Cloud to prepare for next batch of audience responses, I need a way to back to archived version of word cloud and be able to export or download word cloud image.
9 votesRight now we’ll load the screenshot of the Word cloud in an Executive summary report, but we know that is smaller than ideal. We will definitely look into what it would take to add the ability to download larger screenshots of archived Word clouds.

Include vote results on Pivot Report for "Brainstorm" ideas results
When downloading results on a .csv file in the Pivot view, we lose the vote results from "Brainstorm" template. Can this be brought in as a field? I know the Exec Summary report right now has them but would be great to have this feature on the Pivot too.
2 votesThanks for your suggestion — we’ll look into this as we see more interest in this feature.

Accumulative point scoring on grading feature
The option for points scoring to be the sum total based on the options a respondee chooses, so when running a report this is a total figure rather than just one of the choices they selected.
For example you have a multiple choice question with 4 possible choices, each choice is worth 25 points and respondees are able to response up to 4 times. If a respondee selects 3 options they them accrue a total of 75 pints etc.
7 votesThanks for your feedback. We’ll look into what it would take to update our reporting features for questions with multiple correct answers.

Allow branching in surveys, so I don't need to use SurveyMonkey anymore!
Allow branching in the non-live surveys, so there can be follow-up questions posed to only those who respond in a certain way to a question. Thanks!
6 votesThis idea has come up before. It would be a large project that will take time for us to complete. We’ll look into it as we get more feedback and interest.

Group competitions
Divide the participants (or let them choose) in groups so they can compete against groups on the leaderboards rather than individually. Similar to the option for this in Turningpoint.
Group based competitiveness is increasingly applied within (higher) education.
Personally I wish to engage with my students playfully without compounding on the individual pressures which fuels the fear of failing, avoiding of risk and the negative aspects of performativity and goal-oriented behaviour which are typically already over-cultivated in (higher) education.
7 votesThanks for the suggestion, we’ve always been interested in having a group or team Competition feature. As we see more interest, we’ll look into adding it to our roadmap.

Intermediate pricing option
The pricing structure is not good for organizations that need occasional, medium-group polling. It is such a leap between 25 participants for free and 700 participants for higher costs. It would be helpful to have an option that mimics the Engage version but with fewer participants (say 100) and a lower cost.

Increase the size of the marker on the Emotion Scale
The marker on the Emotion Scale is to small to see. Can the size of it be increased? Or is there someway that a tally can be seen under each "smile/frown" so that the audience can see how many of them are happy/sad/angry etc.

A bit more freedom on username choice for entry level plans
As soon as we have used our username (shared with audience) we are forced, in order to be sure nobody can see what we are preparing next, to generate a new name because some user may randomly try to connect again and, with some luck access questions when we are doing some test…
Would it be possible, as soon as you start to pay, to give a bit of freedom in the username selection? Maybe, for basic account (like the one I use) forcing one word but give freedom on number?
Another way could be to add an option who…

When downloading gradebook, ALL data must be shown
In particular, when more than one answer is allowed, all those answers should be separate columns in the gradebook. right now most of the data is simply not downloaded. Also, the value someone gave needs to be downloaded, not just points, so we can see the free text. This might be a different type of report from a gradebook - the goal is a file with one row per respondent and one column per idea that includes ALL the data (numeric and text) gathered in the poll.

Random Question order
I have a classroom of students who sit in pairs. They have a final exam consisting of a set number of questions, that each student gets. At the moment the local exam server we run presents all questions in a random order to the students and allows the students to put problematic questions back in the pool for a later attempt.
This randomisation ensures that the students are answering each question to the best of their ability with no likelihood of being swayed by the student sitting beside them. It limits cheating or collaboration too.1 vote -
Bug in Clickable Image
If a user clicks too close to the top edge of the image their response is out of bounds and is placed at the top left (bottom left on mobile) and it is marked as correct even if it is not inside the region it is meant to be correct in.

Allow Survey to be Group or have a separate Category for Survey
Currently, all surveys cannot be grouped otherwise it cant be shared and reside in UNGROUP. This can be messy if there are a lot of survey or polls in the UNGROUP.
Even though I close to hide the Q, it does not remember the setting. when login to polleverywhere all the survey Q are open up.
Suggest allowing Survey to be Group and nested in another category called SURVEY. It would be neater and easier to find.

Automatically Show the Correct Answer
Automatically Show the Correct Answer After the polling time expires in multiple choice questions.

Add a stopwatch to the poll
Polls currenlty have the option for a timer only, so this idea could be easy to implement. There are different scenarios where a meeting room needs to time how long they spend on the current slide, for example, discussing and evaluating colleagues, then voting on the "grade". A stopwatch would allow to time without requiring a separate application to run in the forground as a timer, making Polleve a more complete package. Thanks!

Allow students to submit open-ended answers to a question, and then allow the class to choose the correct answer from the submissions
For those who have played the game Fibbage, this idea will sound familiar, because it's an ingenious way of making classroom quizzes fun.
I'd love to see a feature where students would be allowed to submit an answer to a question. After all submissions are received, they appear on the screen in addition to the correct answer. Students must select the correct answer from among all of the submissions.
What makes this a game and much more fun is that kids are encouraged to submit clever (but ultimately incorrect) "fake" answers to try to fool the other students and prevent…
3 votesThat sounds super fun! I’m not quite sure how to do that from a technical perspective, but I’ll bring it up to the team for new activity types.
We already have a few other new ones in our roadmap we hope to do first, but I’ll bring this up. Thank you so much for the explanation
