  1. Conditional Responses

It'd be nice to have followup questions based on the response that has been sent. For example say the first question is "do you use public transit? a) yes b) no" and only if they answer "yes" they would receive a followup question "What type of public transit do you use? a) bus b) light-rail"

  2. font size indication

it would be nice to have an indication of the font size when designing the poll appearance. Now I just have to guess and hope that I'm putting the slider in a consistent location. Doesn't even have to be true font sizes - just a relative number would help. Thanks

  3. Timed/scheduled activation of a poll

I'd like the ability to push a scheduled poll to my dedicated page
without the question being visible until the poll actually starts.
Currently the question is visible, the users just cannot submit a response
yet until the start time has been reached.

  4. Integrate PollEv with Schoology LMS

    Hello!

Next year my district is going to implement the enterprise version of
Schoology. I'm still in the learning process of Poll Everywhere, but
linking those two would be very helpful.

    Thanks!

  5. Sign in to polleverywhere with Google

Have you considered allowing sign-in with Google? Next year our school will not allow us to use sites the necessitate login if they don't have sign-in with Google. We are concerned about students being asked to have too many logins between 8 teachers.

Well, it’s still planned for us to do but it’s been pushed back to make way for more team competition related features and an improved asynchronous polling method for quizzes and feedback outside of the class/presentation.

We have included a quick Recent Presentations list that will help students and participants switch between presentations faster. You can read a little about that here: http://www.polleverywhere.com/blog/new-for-2016-updates-on-your-poll-everywhere-account/

We have also added a way to import all of your students with Blackboard and Canvas LMS. So, they can log in with their Blackboard or Canvas emails.

Google SSO is still planned but is not going to be tackled until at least this fall 2016

  6. set the corrections toggle to be automatic

I'm sure a lot of your customers would appreciate the ability to set the corrections toggle to be automatic.

For example: Instead of having to toggle the corrections button manually, how about setting it to toggle on after how many seconds or minutes we set.

Maybe even a separate timer for it be toggled off.

  7. Segregated data collection based on which sub-user is logged in to the PPT plug-in

Let's say I had eight sub-users on my account and a group of questions that I want all of them to be able to ask, potentially in parallel classrooms running at the same time, but only see displayed their own results (excluding the responses gathered by the other seven sub-users). Today I have to copy the group of questions to each sub-user account and build eight separate PowerPoint decks (which is ugly, since now I'd have eight decks to maintain instead of one).

In a corporate environment, it would be really, really useful to build one PowerPoint deck and have…

    Hi Bob,

    Thanks for the feedback!

It’s a pretty difficult issue to solve/account for, and we’re not sure that in all situations it would be the best approach. That said, it’s something we’ve also considered.

The main issue is that the way our system works is it assigns specific, unique codes to each of your multiple-choice options. If you try to use the same poll question multiple times, we would have to somehow create copies of the poll question on the fly, then serve them instantly to the new presenter’s audience.

This is an awesome idea, but to make something like this work at the moment, we’d have to change some of how our system works and also dedicate a lot of development time into creating this possibility.

  8. Better handling of numeric answers

when numerical answers are required, display a histogram of the distribution of responses, so lecturer can see roughly how many get close to the right answer, and how many are far off.

  9. Cache Polls, Send Eventually

The wifi at my university is pretty terrible. However, my professor insists on using poll everywhere for quizzes everyday. Often, I miss a poll question simply because my computer or my phone cannot connect to the internet. I can't send via text because I don't have service. It would be nice if I could send the poll whenever I got wifi. Of course, this will may require a complete rewrite of your backend because a poll completely closes when the instructor decides to. And the code doesn't work afterwards. But maybe if the time the response was cached is before…

  11. be able to embed the "pushed" questions.

Each poll can be embedded with a script, however, we can't embed the live poll (except for iframe) that is being pushed by us onto our PollEv page.

It's nice to have the PollEv.com Page - but it's not always perfect. Maybe on paid plans you can add this feature: Embedable Push Script.

This is why we need it: We want to do LIVE video conferences. Underneath the video player, we want to embed our live poll. Whenever we "push" a question out - it will update under our player as well. This way the user will not have to…
