  1. save word cloud

After "clearing" results for Word Cloud to prepare for next batch of audience responses, I need a way to back to archived version of word cloud and be able to export or download word cloud image.

  2. Pre-event Delegate Registration 'poll' activity

Event planner would activate the poll pre-event that would push the Registration page to all delegate devices who have previously been informed of the ‘Presentation’ or Event code. e.g. (Comms sent internally by the Event Planner) “To register your attendance for this year’s conference, please go to the Poll Everywhere app and enter the event code ‘Conf2020’ where registration is now LIVE.”

The activated Registration polling activity could be similar in format to a ‘Survey’ and would include-

  3. Include vote results on Pivot Report for "Brainstorm" ideas results

When downloading results on a .csv file in the Pivot view, we lose the vote results from "Brainstorm" template. Can this be brought in as a field? I know the Exec Summary report right now has them but would be great to have this feature on the Pivot too.

  4. Accumulative point scoring on grading feature

The option for points scoring to be the sum total based on the options a respondee chooses, so when running a report this is a total figure rather than just one of the choices they selected.

For example you have a multiple choice question with 4 possible choices, each choice is worth 25 points and respondees are able to response up to 4 times. If a respondee selects 3 options they them accrue a total of 75 pints etc.

  6. Leaderboard for Clickable Images

Add the leaderboard bar chart functionality for clickable images based on the region names. Right now it is difficult in a live presentation to see what the top picks were so could be useful if after participants select, the answers get put into a leaderboard so you clearly see what the top picks were.

  7. Differentiate single chioce question from multiple choice questione

By default all "multiple choice" questions are truely spoken single choice questions. It would be easier to add another type of questions for real multiple choice questions, where you may opt for multiple answers (e.g. like Pingo does it). Currently you have to set the number how often may a participant vote to the number of answers and then the number of how often for each answer to 1.

  8. Skip Logic

If a respondent answers a Y/N survey question and the next survey question asked is if yes then why? If the respondent selected No they should skip the question that ask them to respond, If Yes then why?

  9. Save amount of time in the timer per question

It would be helpful to be able to set the timer for each individual question before hand, rather than having to set it up manually while presenting.

Once the timer is set to a specific amount of time in a question, it should be saved so that next time that question is shown, the timer is already set to what you wanted.

Also, there should be an option so that the timer starts counting off as soon as the question is shown.

This would be helpful when you need to time multiple questions with each question requiring a specific time…

  10. Expand 'Wait screen' across multiple slides to enable more event details to be shared

Having the option to make this a multi-tab or multi-slide holding page to enable Event planners to share more details of the event e.g. the venue, the dress code, the agenda. For a number of events, we work with an agency to produce a web-portal that enables delegates to register pre-event, and shares with them details of the venue, venue location and other key details about the event. If Poll Everywhere had a feature that enabled you to share more information on the Welcome page, (as well as a pre-event registration feature which I have suggested separately) it would eradicate…

  11. Points allocation questions are really useful. For example, you have 100 points to allocate to these five things. Where do you put the point

Allocating points to different items can be really useful. For instance, you could ask people what proportion of their taxes should go to:

    Road repair
    Sewers
    Water
    Parks
    Airport expansion

  12. Image name on multiple choice question for results purposes

When you create a multiple choice question and there are pictures to choose from, the name change.
Once you have finished the poll and want to analyze the results, there is no name of the picture the participant has chosen.

  13. color option for "click on location" question

The green markers don't show up well on some of my images. Seems like this color should be a changeable feature.

  14. Make it work!

I have been a subscriber for a long time and have used this App in many presentations. I am ready today to pull the plug on Polleverywhere and cancel my subscription. Today in a crucial moment/presentation it failed miserably. I needed the answers from the audience to be displayed to use these answers to guide me and my audience through my presentation. Of the #7 questions I made to the audience, only in one the answers showed up. I could not see the live display. All the answers are there as I can now see them in my polls in…

  15. Allow branching in surveys, so I don't need to use SurveyMonkey anymore!

Allow branching in the non-live surveys, so there can be follow-up questions posed to only those who respond in a certain way to a question. Thanks!

  17. RAFFLE (for collecting attendance data)

Students submit their name (and possibly major and email address as desired for data collection). Then a randomizer selects one entry as the raffle prize winner.

  18. Group competitions

Divide the participants (or let them choose) in groups so they can compete against groups on the leaderboards rather than individually. Similar to the option for this in Turningpoint.

Group based competitiveness is increasingly applied within (higher) education.

Personally I wish to engage with my students playfully without compounding on the individual pressures which fuels the fear of failing, avoiding of risk and the negative aspects of performativity and goal-oriented behaviour which are typically already over-cultivated in (higher) education.

  19. Allow groups to be converted into competitions

Or let us select a group of existing questions and have them copied into a competition.

  20. In competitions, ability to make questions worth different number of points

In competitions, instead of each correctly answered question automatically being worth 1000 points, this value should be customizable, so questions can be worth 100, 200, 500, etc points.

Also, the option of setting incorrectly answered questions as negative points.
