Q&A enhancement
Add the option for a Customisable Question with a User Drop Down box options before continuing on to the page to write your Q&A, This would allow us to continue as anonymous, yet have a group identifier that allows us to tailor the response in a live Q&A. The example I have is to be able to identify the market / location where the question is being asked from. This would then be displayed in a new column during a live Q&A so that you can sort by market first, and votes second, so that each population has questions answered.

Voters count rather that votes count
I often allow voters to vote for more than one item. When I do so, I can see how many votes have been cast, but not how many people have voted. I want to be able to see the latter, because I want to know when most people have cast a vote. This is impossible to tell from the tally of votes, since some people cast multiple votes

Give access only to the attending students.
It would be great if only the attending students can response to the active survey or quiz. If a student is registered in the class, he still can take the survey even though he is not attending the class. This feature will be very helpful in taking the class attendance. I would recommend having an access code for each survey displayed on the board. Attending students only can see it and type it in to access the survey. This feature can be added to the survey setting, such as Restrict to participants with access code only.

Automatically insert replies from one poll to a new one in a presentation
It would be great to have the possibillity to take the answers from one poll directly into another poll/question during a presentation, without having to take a break in the presentation to do this manually.
Specifically, I have been hoping to first start out with a word cloud, and then directly switch over to another question (e.g. rank order, multiple choice or upvote) where the respondents can vote on the words reported in from the previous question (hence the replies on the first question is seamlessly added into the second).1 vote -
delayed response
Is there a way to delay showing the results of a live poll so as not to influence the audiences answer? Maybe a 10 second delay or a "display answers" button?

Placeholder slide: rather than random shot - just have title portion. That way, won’t ‘glitch’ while waiting for server connection
Currently the slide you’ll see in slide deck of PowerPoint is apparently randomly generated, sometimes capturing a chart with answer from previously run poll ( the last time you presented the deck live). This leads to cumbersome need to pull out the poll everywhere slides and reinsert them fresh each time you give the talk. Or else will risk a glitchy presentation and slide deck that has answers revealed from last presentation. The ‘placeholder slides’ poll everywhere uses do not update - they are truly just ‘placeholders’. The best solution is for those placeholders to be ‘clean’ and unrevealing of…
1 voteThanks for the feedback! That’s really interesting to hear. We had a lot of discussions about whether to show or hide the results on the placeholder images. It was tough to try and decide.
I’ve shared this with our team and we’ll be checking in with other customers if they have a preference as well.

Found a bug in Q&A counting
I posted a test "answer" and upvoted it to +1. I went on another account (where it already showed +1) and downvoted it. Instead of correctly going to 0, it went to -1.
The same bug exists going up from -1 towards 0/1.
Please fix this. Thanks!

Allow the poll timer to activate when using the mobile app.
For many reasons, I do not embed the poll questions in my presentation, but prefer to "push" the poll questions to the audience while showing a different presentation slide. With the embedded poll slides/desktop version, the timer for a question will activate and then lock the poll. However, when the mobile app is used, the timer for the poll will not activate. It would be nice to either have it activate the timer or give a timer start option within the mobile app.

Allow users to delete their account
As a user of Poll Everywhere, I want to be able to delete my account if I decide that I don't want to use this product anymore.

Segmentation reports
Up until recently ( last used Dec 2017) I was able to do poll by poll segmentation reports. I have been told by your support team that this is no longer supported as you have changed to only support a graded answer system. Unfortunately unless I am planning on running a pub quiz type setup this isn’t very helpful in a commercial/conference environment. Segmentation data, or demographics as we know it, can be a really important factor in using polling. Using the polls to breakdown where people are from, what kind of organisation they work for or what size of…

Scale & 100 point questions
I had to go with www.mentimeter.com for a conference due to not having the question types of scales and 100 points. You guys should check those 2 types out and add them to poll everywhere.
10 votesThanks for the feedback. We’re always on the lookout for more poll types. While we do have some methods of adding weighted grading or scores to specific multiple choice polls, we have not yet built anything for this.
We’ll definitely look into it though!

Enhance Moodle Integration
Moodle integration is extremely limited. There is no point in having separate scores for Participation and Correct Responses if these cannot be also separately exported to Moodle. Furthermore, PollEverywhere is so versatile in terms of the different Poll types it can be used for multiple different types of exercise. However, there should be an option to have them imported separately into Moodle into different categories. Lastly it would be great if one could do one Moodle import every week without overwriting the previous scores. So each new Moodle import should create a new PollEverywhere Item in Moodle.

Let admins modify students' answers.
Every class I use PollEverywhere, someone is unable to log in, or has some other technical trouble. They then submit their answers on paper. It'd be incredibly helpful if I could then on the back end add their response manually into PollEverywhere. At the moment I can only do this after downloading the report, but it'd be much easier to do it in PollEverywhere directly. (As then the grade can be also sent to Moodle directly ... atm there is no way to modify it.)

Gradebook Reports Enhancements
For grading, reports are very limited currently. Here are some crucial features that are badly needed, in particular for cvs download.
Include information of what group the poll was part of.
Include information of when the poll was administered.
Be able to control the order of polls (columns), especially chronologically when the polls were administered.
Be able to group polls in sessions.
Use case:
Every class I give three polls. My students get one point per poll up to a possible total of 3. They also get one attendance point if they answered at least one of the polls (no…3 votes -
Provide options for uploading grades to Canvas LMS
When I export grades to Canvas, I'd like some options (checkboxes) to decide what to export. E.g., If I select a group of polls, I would like to send just the participation percent; or a total points for the polls. Often I don't want individual polls in the gradebook, just a score for the day.

Do not randomize a ranked poll
Do not randomize a ranked poll
I would like to create a poll where an initial ranking is given, so that the participants can change it instead of starting from scratch.
Especially with a large set of answer options (around 20) a sensible starting point makes things easier. So it would be helpful if a ranking poll could be configured so that it does not randomize the items.

Sub-users can be a member of multiple groups
Hi there,
We would like it if sub-users can be a part of more than one group. We have some faculty who teach graduate and undergraduate classes, and need to copy polls from other undergrad and graduate faculty. Currently users can only be a part of one group. Can you please change this so that users can be a part of multiple groups simultaneously? Thanks,
Kevin20 votesThis is something we are seriously considering. We are looking into a lot of different options to handle roles, permissions, and team structures within the application for our larger customers. It is a pretty significant project and we’ve only just begun some initial user research into what this might take.
If you are interested in providing feedback for sharing/copying/collaborating on polls with other people at your organization → we plan on performing user interviews in early 2018. Send us an email to support@polleverywhere.com and we will add you to our interview candidate pool.
Otherwise, please feel free to share any specific cases or problems you’re seeing here. I’ll route them to our user research team
Thanks for the feedback!

API Call for tabulated results
The API call "/results" returns all individual responses. It would be useful to have an API call to return tabulated results for multiple choice polls. Usually an vote count or percentage is needed and not all responses.
