Support moderating and presenting simultaneously from the Presenter app.
As it stands right now, in order to moderate a poll using the Presenter app, the poll must be activated/presented on a different device. (This is due to the fact that leaving the presenter screen on the app deactivates the poll.) It would be nice to be able to control both presentation and moderation from just the app. Ideally, the Moderation screen would be a tab in the Presenter screen (alongside "Top Responses" and "Top + New Responses").
5 votesTo remove responses from a Q&A activity while it’s being presented, you can click “Hide” by hovering over the response on the presentation view.

Ability to unhide response in the Present Plan
The Present Plan allows the ability to hide response, however you can not unhide them unless you have the Moderation feature.

ADD OPTION LIMIT PLEASE :(
The option limit is currently 50. This was not stated anywhere on site. I'm hosting a video and photo contest, and we have 64 bike photos. Bummer!
1 voteSorry for the trouble, we’ve added some error handling to Multiple choice activities to help prevent this in the future.
There is a workaround for this if you use our CSV activity importer. You’re able to create more than 50 answer options for a Multiple choice activity that way. The reason we have a limit is it begins to crash the browser, so importing via CSV is a way around that.

It will be grate if we could have a survey that can aggregate age or no. Of years of experience or participant if such questions as asked
How many years experience do you have the industry. Poll everywhere should be able to aggregate all responses
1 voteYou can do this today with our segmentation feature: https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/create-activities/segmentation

Mach IV test
Would be great to be able to run the Mach IV test to multiple people, and to see the summary results in real time.
1 voteYou can make a Survey for this with Multiple choice questions where the options range from Disagree to Agree.

Hoping this idea could happen in the next week :)
Is there something that can be done in wordcloud so that web participants could access a live word cloud over the timeframe that the poll is open from different locations (a link)? This way it could be embedded in an online presentation.
1 voteYou can do this today with our live results link and use an iframe to embed it into a website. Learn more: https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/sharing-publishing/live-results

Pre-event Delegate Registration 'poll' activity
Event planner would activate the poll pre-event that would push the Registration page to all delegate devices who have previously been informed of the ‘Presentation’ or Event code. e.g. (Comms sent internally by the Event Planner) “To register your attendance for this year’s conference, please go to the Poll Everywhere app and enter the event code ‘Conf2020’ where registration is now LIVE.”
The activated Registration polling activity could be similar in format to a ‘Survey’ and would include-
First Name: (text)
Surname: (text)
Job Title: (text)
Area of business: (text)
Email Address: (text)
Contact Number: (text)
Method of transport to…7 votesThere are a couple different ways to go about this today:
Create a Survey for Registered participants only and either email the link to reply or embed it on a webpage that you own.
Set the default activation period to a longer time period such as 30 days.
Our Enterprise accounts also have access to a feature to schedule when an activity is locked to prevent further responses.

Leaderboard for Clickable Images
Add the leaderboard bar chart functionality for clickable images based on the region names. Right now it is difficult in a live presentation to see what the top picks were so could be useful if after participants select, the answers get put into a leaderboard so you clearly see what the top picks were.
1 voteTo do this, you can show regions and hide responses. The regions will show the total number of clicks within them and you can hide the responses to get rid of the click markers.

Save amount of time in the timer per question
It would be helpful to be able to set the timer for each individual question before hand, rather than having to set it up manually while presenting.
Once the timer is set to a specific amount of time in a question, it should be saved so that next time that question is shown, the timer is already set to what you wanted.
Also, there should be an option so that the timer starts counting off as soon as the question is shown.
This would be helpful when you need to time multiple questions with each question requiring a specific time…
7 votesOnce you set a timer, the timer will immediately begin when you enter fullscreen mode or activate your activity. If you come back to the activity later, the amount of time you entered will save before your next presentation.

Image name on multiple choice question for results purposes
When you create a multiple choice question and there are pictures to choose from, the name change.
Once you have finished the poll and want to analyze the results, there is no name of the picture the participant has chosen.1 voteSorry you had trouble with this. Please contact support@polleverywhere.com so we can get more information.

color option for "click on location" question
The green markers don't show up well on some of my images. Seems like this color should be a changeable feature.
3 votesYou can adjust the default color of the pins on a Clickable image activity by navigating to your Visual settings and selecting a different color under the “Clicks received” section.

Make it work!
I have been a subscriber for a long time and have used this App in many presentations. I am ready today to pull the plug on Polleverywhere and cancel my subscription. Today in a crucial moment/presentation it failed miserably. I needed the answers from the audience to be displayed to use these answers to guide me and my audience through my presentation. Of the #7 questions I made to the audience, only in one the answers showed up. I could not see the live display. All the answers are there as I can now see them in my polls in…

Allow users to disable directions while open ended questions are hiding results.
Allow users to disable directions while open ended questions are hiding results.
3 votesWe recommend activating the poll without displaying it on the screen. You can do this by clicking the activate button on another device and show the results when you’re ready. If you’re using slideware, you can choose to show a different slide while gathering responses.

Disable duplicate responses by default
By default, any participant can send the same answer several times. The total count then makes no sense.
For example, to the question "What do you at night?"
one can answer several times "I play guitar."
While in most cases we need them to send each answer only once.We need the default behaviour to allow any answer to be sent only once per participant.
1 voteWe’ve disabled duplicate responses on multiple choice activities by default. Thanks for your suggestion!

Additional visual settings for clickable image marker
Visual
I think this is a very important feature to be able to change the green color of the markers.
I just want to use a map with a lot of green areas - for the audience it is not easy to see the markers. ---
A second issue is that there are almost some persons which are handycapped with color blindness red-green.3 votesWe have just added the ability to change the colors of the Pins for our clickable image polls. Here’s how:
1. Open the clickable image poll you want to edit
2. click the Visual Settings button on the top right of the poll display
3. expand the menu titled “Clicks received”You will then have the option to change the default pin color, the color for correct answers, and the color for incorrect answers.
Click ‘Save’ to apply the new colors.

QR Code for audience log in
I have used this for many small & large audiences. It takes too much time for audiences to enter the link on their device and access the survey.
A unique QR code would save a lot of time & increase user accessibility.1 voteWe have added a new Beta feature to add some support for QR codes. It is fully functional and supported, but remains in beta because it does not currently work for Competitions.
You can enable this feature here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/labs
Once the QR Code feature is enabled for you account when you open a poll you should see a small QR code next to the response instructions on the chart. If you click this QR icon → a QR code will expand to show on the entire screen.
Anyone in your audience may then use any standard QR code reader on their phones to navigate to your pollev.com/username page
Furthermore, you may download the image for your QR code and add that as a slide in PowerPoint if you have your own instructions for the audience. You can download this image at polleverywhere.com/profile/edit
Hope this helps!

Add response counter to powerpoint polls
Please add a counter indicating how many responses have been submitted during a live powerpoint poll. I'm constantly having to ask 'is anyone still answering?', instead of having the screen display the count letting me know when I approach the number of people participating.
4 votesWe do have a setting to display the Total Result count on the live chart. It can be enabled from our visual setting menu, but we do have this off by default. Here’s how:
1. Navigate to the poll you want to show the result count for
2. Click on the grey Visual Settings button (with the paintbrush icon) to the top right of the poll
3. Inside visual settings, scroll to the bottom under Total Results count
4. Click the checkbox for “Show on chart” to display the counter on the pollThis will display a counter on the bottom right of the chart.
