Allow bulk selection of polls.
I've just finished creating 22 groupings, each with about 25 polls in them. Man is my clicking finger tired. It would be great to be able to do a ctrl + scroll or something like that.
Thanks in advance,
Tim.2 votesYou can now bulk select polls by selecting all polls in a group or the ungrouped section by clicking the checkbox to the right of a group title or by using the “select” links at the top.
You can also edit multiple polls at once using the “edit multiple” button. More info here: blog.polleverywhere.com/edit-multiple-polls/

Have the free access work after 12pm est.
The program works great in the morning, but after lunch it's pretty much worthless. Do I have to buy the $50 membership to have it work properly all the time? Thanks

Change your "Received at" Reporting
It currently records it as something like "09/07/11 @ 11:37:11 AM" which is good for American audiences who will not ever sort their data in a spreadsheet by who responds the quickest. I would recommend changing it to "2011/09/07 1137:11 hrs" or for a pm time "2011/09/07 1437:11 hrs"
This now allows anyone to sort the date/time stamp with an excel spreadsheet in the correct way from the largest time amount, year, and descending appropriately to seconds. The 24 hour time stamp has to be used to eliminate the need for am/pm which a spreadsheet will not easily use.
If…
2 votesHi Darren,
We made some changes to the way response dates and times are displayed. The new format (only slightly different) will now be recognized as a date by excel.

Streamline the Student Registration Process
As I understand it, registering a student is currently a 3-step process including 1) students register 2) students certify their phone 3) students register as a voter on the teacher's account.
Despite taking class time to register kids and even making a "how to" video to help kids with the process, still a huge number of them miss one part (normally the "register as a voter" part) and I end up spending a considerable amount of time walking them through the process individually.
Perhaps a "register as a student" option where kids would be automatically walked through the process would…
2 votesCurrently distributing your participation link (found via participants tab under “invite…” tab) will lead students through this process

allow default options to be changed and saved
almost every poll I create is a free response intended for registered participants (I am a teacher) and I check all of the "how you can respond" . As far as I know, I have to check these boxes each time I make a poll which isn't a huge deal, but it does slow things down a bit.

duplicating activity slides
I use clickable images and would like to be able to duplicate a polling slide (leaving same image on both) and change only the question. When i tried this, it looked like I was successful but then the duplicated slide reverted to the original question
1 voteTo duplicate an activity, you can copy it within the Poll Everywhere slideware apps or on polleverywhere.com and make any adjustments there, rather than on the slide itself. Then, insert the new activity into your slide deck to see it activated.

Have multiple clickable image icon settings
I spoke with Sejal (vashi@hsph.harvard.edu) and she was using the clickable image (emotion one). She wanted to change up the icon (maybe to an arrow) on the clickabe image and change the color of the drop pin but there isn't a way. She would like to request these options be added to our clickable image
1 voteWe have just added the ability to change the colors of the Pins for our clickable image polls. Here’s how:
1. Open the clickable image poll you want to edit
2. click the Visual Settings button on the top right of the poll display
3. expand the menu titled “Clicks received”You will then have the option to change the default pin color, the color for correct answers, and the color for incorrect answers.
Click ‘Save’ to apply the new colors.

Allow creation of a template on website as currently exists on plugin
Just as I can create a template when working on powerpoint, I'd like to have a template when creating polls on the site. Eg., it appears my polls are randomly assigned by the system to be anonymous vs. not. I'd like to set it so that all polls are anonymous, applied to existing polls and future polls.
1 voteWe do have a template poll feature available. You can see the details for how it works and how to set it up here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/your-settings/template-poll
And, that will support the Anonymous poll setting as well.

Survey responses
Are Surveys also limited to the "audience size" of the plan I am using? So for example, using the free plan, would my survey be limited to 25 responses?
1 voteThat is correct. The audience size is set for any polls or surveys. So, you could receive a max of 25 responses to each question within the survey. So, if you have a 4 question survey → then you could receive 25 responses on each question.

Edit survey
The edit screen needs adjusted. When editing a survey, you cannot see the 'correct' response. Overall very clunky.
1 voteWe have implemented a change to our survey editor to make it look more like our creation workflow. And, it does now have the correct answer shown.
Thanks for the feedback

Completion count
I want to see how many people have voted on a specific slide. Currently I can see that 70% have chosen B and 30% have chosen C, but I don't know how many are done at this point on this slide (when do I move on?)
1 voteYou can do that today! Here’s how:
- click on the Paintbrush icon to the top right of the poll
- select the Total results menu to expand it
- then click the checkbox to show total results while you are showing the chart -
Default Group & Survey Collapse
Allow collapse all groups and surveys by default and allow this setting to be locked. Great numbers of groups and surveys can require lots and lots of scrolling or clicking when this feature is not available.
1 voteWe do have a “Collapse all” feature on our My Polls page. If you click the checkmark toward the top of the page (just above the Ungrouped area) → you should see an option to Collapse all. That will collapse all of your groups and surveys. It will persist with one exception – the Ungrouped group will expand by default when you log in or refresh the page. This is something we do plan on addressing, but is actually a very difficult technical problem as that is our “root” group.
Will that work for you?

Figures in the question
Allow pictures/figures in the question text
1 voteThere are a couple of different ways to show pictures while displaying our chart. We have a new side-by-side image option that you can read about here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/blog/instruction-image/
And, we’ll be adding some improvements to that very soon. Otherwise, for mathematical or scientific expressions you can use LaTeX https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/power-users/latex
And, we also have full emoji support for our question titles
Hope this helps! And, thanks for the feedback

Posting images as a question, not a clickable image.
Let us post a photo in place of typing a question! I have many quizzes that I have as PDFs that I have to retype, whereas when I used iclickers or SMART clickers I could just upload the screenshot of the question, and then type in the answer choices. It would make my life MUCH easier when I have questions that include scientific symbols and equations!!!
1 voteWe actually just released this feature last week! There is a new visualization feature that will allow you to have an image displayed side by side with your multiple choice poll’s bar chart. You can see details for it here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/blog/instruction-image/
