View who sent them
I would like to be able to view who sent the voting in. I would like to be able to make sure my students are not voting multiple times. Thanks
1 voteYou can use the participant registration feature to identify who is voting: http://www.polleverywhere.com/features/participant_reporting
You can restrict polls to only allow responses from registered participants as well as restrict the number of votes per participant from a poll’s edit menu.

Moderator
I'd like to have a separate moderator screen so I can moderate live with out having to freeze and unfreeze, max and min.
1 voteThis is how the moderator feature works!
Use the moderator on a separate screen, display, or computer to update other open instances of the poll.

Suggestion: Ability to allow multiple users per cell phone for quizzes.
I am an Algebra II teacher in a very rural community. I am using polleverywhere in my classes quite often. Only about 90% of my students have a cell phone. I would love to use your service to conduct quizzes, but some of my students can't do this. I don't want them to feel left out. Any ideas?

Enable Session / Custom Keyword
How and when will the enable session feature be changing? I know when I go to do this on a poll or a group of polls - it says this feature will not be available in a month or so. What options will be made available to keep your poll answer options not 5 digits long?
1 voteHi Amanda,
Great question! Basically, we’re working on a new keyword model that has your participants first join YOU as the presenter by texting your username. This will allow you to set any keyword you like on your polls, as you won’t be sharing the same space with other Poll Everywhere users.
It’s taking awhile longer than we initially hoped because we’re making sure it’s going to be great! There will certainly be site wide reminders and maybe even an email when we implement this change.
Let me know if you have more questions!

Options for font size
The font size for my question is very large, and the font size for my questions is so small that they can't be read. If I could change the font size then I could fix it.

Web voting will certainly work. For texting check the following: http://www.polleverywhere.com/faq#international-sms

Create an iPhone and Android app
It should be an easy feed from your website. An app would be much easier for students on mobile devices. Loging into your website on a mobile device isn't as smooth or userfriendly as an app.
84 votesHey all! We’ve released the mobile apps you’ve been waiting for! We’ve got both iOS and Android. Have fun and let us know if you have any feedback!

You can add images to the background or as a logo in the title. The best way to integrate a table or graph with a poll question is to embed both in a PowerPoint presentation.

I would like to use Poll Everywhere as one of the tools in my Personal Growth Plan...
for incorporating more technology into the classroom for student learning. However, I am having a hard time coming up with "measurable" goals. How can I measure my growth as a teacher by using your service with the free plan?

You can hide responses by using the instruction view. Hover over the upper right hand corner of a poll to display the pop up buttons to view the toggle.

Different languages
It would be great if it could support Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc for the second language classroom.
22 votesHi!
Thanks for requesting better foreign language support in Poll Everywhere. We’re happy to say it’s working great for lots of complex languages with Unicode characters well supported! Man, it wasn’t easy.
If you’ve been with us a while, you just need to make sure you opted in to our HTML5 charts. New users are automatically opted-in.
