Different languages
It would be great if it could support Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc for the second language classroom.

Thanks for requesting better foreign language support in Poll Everywhere. We’re happy to say it’s working great for lots of complex languages with Unicode characters well supported! Man, it wasn’t easy.

Thanks Evan! We're working on updating our back end infrastructure to support different character sets as well. That will make it very easy to support additional languages with additional character sets.

I tried to create some polls in Arabic with some teachers in March. The text appears correctly when in the edit mode, but when published and shared the letter get jumbled. This is a common problem in other softwares with languages such as Arabic. If you need some help doing some testing let me know. You guys are getting close. Keep working on the international language function.

It has always worked just fine for me. I would time the upside down question mark using the code on the character map: Alt + 0191 (¿). Today however, all of a sudden, it has quit working and I have had to resort to using the upright question mark which looks strange in Spanish. Help!

It will really be helpful for foreign language classrooms. I have trouble using this poll page to my classes.

Great! I look forward to the change! I work at a federally funded Language Resource Center and I train language teachers on the use/integration of technology in the language classroom. In fact I presented last weekend on using mobile phones in the language classroom in San Diego, and everyone loved poll everywhere! I truly enjoy sharing your product, the user-friendly, easy to create format, PPT download, multiple ways to share the poll are excellent. Keep up the great work!
