CSV template to import questions for Competitions
I've had good success with Competitions already, but it would be nice if CSV template functionality was added for this category. It's a lot easier to create a poll that way.
23 votesThanks for your suggestion! We plan on adding more functionality to the CSV activity importer, which will include Competitions. We don’t have a timeline at the moment but we’ll keep you posted here.

Create teams
For the competitions, could participates select a team they would like to be a part of, or better yet, could I assign participants to specific teams for competitions.
17 votesCompetitions is our newest activity type and we’re always looking to enhance it. This one is on our radar, and we’ll look into pursuing it as there is more interest.

Add a stopwatch to the poll
Polls currenlty have the option for a timer only, so this idea could be easy to implement. There are different scenarios where a meeting room needs to time how long they spend on the current slide, for example, discussing and evaluating colleagues, then voting on the "grade". A stopwatch would allow to time without requiring a separate application to run in the forground as a timer, making Polleve a more complete package. Thanks!

Increase the size of the marker on the Emotion Scale
The marker on the Emotion Scale is to small to see. Can the size of it be increased? Or is there someway that a tally can be seen under each "smile/frown" so that the audience can see how many of them are happy/sad/angry etc.

Export poll questions
Poll Everywhere should include an option for poll creators to export poll questions out of the system. This could be done via .csv file. Since poll questions can be imported into the system, there should be an option to export them as well.
11 votesWe do have data exports available for our University-Wide and Enterprise accounts. Anyone on these accounts may contact their dedicated Account Manager to get this enabled.
Otherwise, we do have a CSV export for our Executive Summary report which will have the poll title and all response options. However, the format isn’t really designed to be uploaded to another system necessarily and may need someone to manually delete certain fields to work.

In competitions, ability to make questions worth different number of points
In competitions, instead of each correctly answered question automatically being worth 1000 points, this value should be customizable, so questions can be worth 100, 200, 500, etc points.
Also, the option of setting incorrectly answered questions as negative points.
15 votesThanks for your suggestion. Our current goals are to try to keep Competitions as simple and easy to understand as possible for both the presenter and the audience when it comes to scoring. We have other features in the roadmap for Competitions first but we’ll definitely consider this as interest grows.

Intermediate pricing option
The pricing structure is not good for organizations that need occasional, medium-group polling. It is such a leap between 25 participants for free and 700 participants for higher costs. It would be helpful to have an option that mimics the Engage version but with fewer participants (say 100) and a lower cost.

A bit more freedom on username choice for entry level plans
As soon as we have used our username (shared with audience) we are forced, in order to be sure nobody can see what we are preparing next, to generate a new name because some user may randomly try to connect again and, with some luck access questions when we are doing some test…
Would it be possible, as soon as you start to pay, to give a bit of freedom in the username selection? Maybe, for basic account (like the one I use) forcing one word but give freedom on number?
Another way could be to add an option who…

When downloading gradebook, ALL data must be shown
In particular, when more than one answer is allowed, all those answers should be separate columns in the gradebook. right now most of the data is simply not downloaded. Also, the value someone gave needs to be downloaded, not just points, so we can see the free text. This might be a different type of report from a gradebook - the goal is a file with one row per respondent and one column per idea that includes ALL the data (numeric and text) gathered in the poll.

Randomize assignment to two simultaneous polls
This might be difficult but, for polls among registered participants only, could you allow randomization of which person gets which poll?
If the instructor could then show both activities simultaneously on screen, we could run randomized trials within the group.
An example of simultaneous assignment of two polls is:
https://sites.tufts.edu/foodecon/2019/01/are-choices-predictable
but for that I had to do the polling outside of class. If we could do this live in class, we could develop more randomized experiments within the classroom.

Bug in Clickable Image
If a user clicks too close to the top edge of the image their response is out of bounds and is placed at the top left (bottom left on mobile) and it is marked as correct even if it is not inside the region it is meant to be correct in.

Allow Survey to be Group or have a separate Category for Survey
Currently, all surveys cannot be grouped otherwise it cant be shared and reside in UNGROUP. This can be messy if there are a lot of survey or polls in the UNGROUP.
Even though I close to hide the Q, it does not remember the setting. when login to polleverywhere all the survey Q are open up.
Suggest allowing Survey to be Group and nested in another category called SURVEY. It would be neater and easier to find.

Competition - set up for over time, not just for one session
Can Competition be set up as a loop? This way we can put up the questions on a monitor and people who walk by can answer questions as they please and over time we can see the winner on the leaderboard.

I am wondering if I can make a shape(ex. animal, tree...) with the keywords from the participants in Word Cloud function.
Since I saw Pollev, It changed the way I survey.
My name is Hwain Moon from Korea and I work for a pharmaceutical company.
I use pollev's word cloud function to get doctors' idea on our product. To tell the truth I am 90% satisfied with the service now.
But I am wondering if I can make a shape(ex. animal, tree...) with the keywords from the participants in Word Cloud function.
Best regards,

Allow students to submit open-ended answers to a question, and then allow the class to choose the correct answer from the submissions
For those who have played the game Fibbage, this idea will sound familiar, because it's an ingenious way of making classroom quizzes fun.
I'd love to see a feature where students would be allowed to submit an answer to a question. After all submissions are received, they appear on the screen in addition to the correct answer. Students must select the correct answer from among all of the submissions.
What makes this a game and much more fun is that kids are encouraged to submit clever (but ultimately incorrect) "fake" answers to try to fool the other students and prevent…
3 votesThat sounds super fun! I’m not quite sure how to do that from a technical perspective, but I’ll bring it up to the team for new activity types.
We already have a few other new ones in our roadmap we hope to do first, but I’ll bring this up. Thank you so much for the explanation
