Clarify the two uses of the word "group"
Poll Everywhere uses "group" to mean "group" of questions AND "group" of collaborators. This gets confusing. It would be ideal if these features used different names. How about "Team" of collaborators? or something like that.
1 voteThank you for the feedback! Yes. I and Poll Everywhere agree one hundred percent as we regret that naming scheme as well.
We have begun work on a project around Sharing Polls with other presenters and part of this work will involve changes to our User Group feature. This is a large project for us that will be a months yet, but changing the name is part of our current plan.
So, stay tuned! And, we’ll be posting here and looking for beta testers for that in time.
Thanks again!

Ability to show multiple choice answers one at a time in Powerpoint
Instead of giving all multiple choice answers at the same time, allow the presenter to show a new answer on click. There are benefits to showing students the answers one at time. This might require to be able to activate the poll in ppt manually, instead of instant activation as soon as the slide/poll comes up.

Change the order of text number and poll number
I am getting feedback from many students and colleagues that, when I request them to text their poll response, the language on the slide does not read clearly. It provides the content of the text message (the unique poll number to text with the response) before providing the phone number to text to. On many devices, you have to put in a number before you can draft a text. The ordering of these two numbers results in many people sending a text to the poll number and putting the text number in the content of the text message.

Display Survey Results on One Chart rather than by Individual Question
When creating a survey, I would like to display one chart with all the responses to each question, rather than having to click through slides for each question to see the results. For instance, if there was a "check all that apply" option (if there is, I apologize for not finding it) that then can be shown in a frequency chart (10 responses for item 1, 5 responses for item 2).

Experiments
Allow teachers to run in-class experiments: By this I mean that I want to direct all my students to one link. The poll or survey should then (randomly) direct one half of students to one version of a question and the other half of students to another version of a question. This way I can show how different question wording / scenarios / ... lead to different responses.

Give the option to show regions in present mode.
For the poll I want to create, I have selected specific regions and ideally would be able to show those on present mode so that voters can "click" on the region they are voting for instead of randomly clicking on the map. The way it’s set up now, the map is blank and you essentially have to cross your fingers that voters click on an area that corresponds to one of those boxes. Keep in mind - some countries are small! For this use-case, I feel like a pin would be sufficient as shown under “Audience Favorites” (hopefully people can…

Custom time period for correct answer visibility delay
Instead of having a drop down with limited options for the "When should correct responses be visible to participants?" setting, have it be a field where you fill in a set number of hours/days.
Even better - if we could set this on a per-poll or per-group basis and enter in a specific date as well.

You should explore allowing multiple account template polls
We are a big company and have two sectors within the same account. We would like to have two poll templates: one per sector
1 voteThanks for the idea! We are actively doing some initial research into different ways to expand and improve our template poll feature. It’s great to hear these sorts of requests.
We are looking into this right now, however it is still very early for us to say exactly how we will implement these improvements. We’ll post here as the project moves along.
Thanks for the idea!

Visme presentation?
I've recently moved all presentations over to using Visme (away from Prezi and Powerpoint). An excellent tool, except I can not embed my polls. Is there a way I can do this with Visme like I did with Power Point rather than having to close out and go to full web screen shot?

Nested Questions
Nested questions based on how an initial question is answered.
For example, question 1 is a yes or no question. If the respondent answers yes, they're brought to a follow-up question (question 2); if their answer is no, they're brought to a different follow-up (question 3).
Once those are responded to, the answers can be merged into one poll for display.

Ability to adjust Fonts, etc within the multiple choice options
Would like the ability to adjust fonts, colors, size, underline, etc in the multiple choice options. This would be useful in grammar type questions, when we want people to notice the differences in the multiple choice options.
2 votesThere is a workaround that I might suggest, let me know if this could work for you.
Our polls support LaTeX which is typically used by math or science professors to give equations. However, LaTeX also supports way to underline, bold, italicize etc… text in general.
You can see a bit how it works here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/power-users/latex
And, I usually recommend this website for examples around LaTeX (there’s a whole section on the formatting you’re describing): https://www.sharelatex.com/learn
Would that work for you?

Q&A enhancement
Add the option for a Customisable Question with a User Drop Down box options before continuing on to the page to write your Q&A, This would allow us to continue as anonymous, yet have a group identifier that allows us to tailor the response in a live Q&A. The example I have is to be able to identify the market / location where the question is being asked from. This would then be displayed in a new column during a live Q&A so that you can sort by market first, and votes second, so that each population has questions answered.

Change language instructions for specific polls
It would be good to have an option to change the language instructions for a specific poll. Right now when you change the language settings it affects all polls.

Reporting enhancements
Not sure if these issues are simply user-error and I'm not looking in the right places, but if not I hope this will be of use. Despite the following, I found Poll Everywhere to be a fantastic and useful tool for the most part as did the participants in the conference we used it for.
I have polls that are grouped by which session they apply to in a multi-day conference. When it comes to reporting, I'm having to generate a report for each session because if I select all groups then the report not only shows no distinction between…

Voters count rather that votes count
I often allow voters to vote for more than one item. When I do so, I can see how many votes have been cast, but not how many people have voted. I want to be able to see the latter, because I want to know when most people have cast a vote. This is impossible to tell from the tally of votes, since some people cast multiple votes
9 votesThanks for the feedback! I’ll bring it up to our engineers. I know this is a bit trickier for us to do than simply changing a visual setting because we have to securely pass the participant data back to the poll. This is especially difficult for our Anonymous polls. As well as keeping it crystal clear to people what we are counting. Last thing we want is to confuse folks who see that the number of responses and the count don’t match up.
But, I can certainly understand the desire here.

User poll completion prominent notification
I have run the same ranking poll several times with the same group. About half the group each time asks" did you receive my ranking? All I see is a circle with a line through it that looks like there is a problem". I know that the red slash circle is intended to warn that the user will be clearing and restarting the ranking poll. Can the message be made more clear and prominent that the ranking poll has been successfully submitted? thanks!

Timer is hidden behind Google Slides toolbar
When using the Poll Everywhere extension within presentation mode of Google Slides, the timer is actually hidden behind the Google Slides toolbar in the lower left corner of the screen. When you attempt to manipulate the timer, you cannot make any changes to it because the Google Slides toolbar covers it every time the cursor gets near the timer. If there were a setting to select the position of the timer or if it could freely be moved, that would solve the problem.
6 votesHi Heather,
I’m sorry about the trouble with our Google Slides integration. Thank you for bringing this up to us. This looks like a bug on our end. We should have a fix for this with our next update to our Chrome Extension for Google Slides.
We’ll send you an email when that is coming out.
Thanks for bringing this up!

Automatically insert replies from one poll to a new one in a presentation
It would be great to have the possibillity to take the answers from one poll directly into another poll/question during a presentation, without having to take a break in the presentation to do this manually.
Specifically, I have been hoping to first start out with a word cloud, and then directly switch over to another question (e.g. rank order, multiple choice or upvote) where the respondents can vote on the words reported in from the previous question (hence the replies on the first question is seamlessly added into the second).1 voteThis is tricky for us to do. I love the idea, but it’s subtly very hard to cover all of our edge cases.
Have you tried our Q&A Poll before? It’s not going to give you the exact same behavior but it hits a similar need. That poll type allows your audience to reply with open ended responses and up/downvote those responses as well.
Is that sufficient for you? You can read a bit about our Q&A polls here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/question-and-answer-brainstorm

Develop the Liveslide app for the i-pad
Using Apple TV and an ipad via a modulator allows us to run rolling presentations throught business premises. The ability to add a weather page, sports news pages etc is a great feature.

Reverse display order for open-ended responses
We use open-ended responses to collect questions for executive town halls. It would be great if we could reverse the order and new responses/questions would be added at the bottom instead of the top.
4 votesThanks for the feedback! One thing I might recommend for you is to try out our new Spotlight visualization for open ended poll questions. It isn’t in the reverse order, however it is geared toward displaying only a single response at a time before moving on to the next one.
You can read a bit about it here: https://blog.polleverywhere.com/new-visualization-spotlight/
