Ability to delete individual responses
In a moderated event, it would be good if we could delete individual responses to preserve the 500 response count. In many cases, we have forums where we would like to allow participants to be anonymous and also to have the ability to input multiple responses, but it only takes one person in the group to ruin it for everyone else. Deleting all the responses is not a great option because it deletes the legitimate responses.
Ah, this is a tough one. Most of our pricing is based around the maximum number of responses allowed per poll question because generally larger events have a larger budget and this helps keep things fair for our customers and keeps us in business.
If we allow plans with moderation to “delete” a response and prevent it from getting recorded as a response it allows for some bad agents to game our pricing system and get a lot of “free” responses by showing them and then “deleting” them before they reach the limit. So, it’s a tradeoff for us.
We might be able to do something like giving each presenter a maximum of 5-10 “deletes” that they can use for any given poll question. That way you can remove a few bad responses that you never want to display, but prevent gaming the system.
Do you think that would work for you?

I need to remove a single response from a ranking because it's throwing off the outcome and it's a participant error. How can I do this? I only have 7 responses so far so it's got nothing to do with matching my plan restrictions.

It would be great to allow responses through immediately but to be able to hide some after they are posted. I don't want to watch through for all of them, but I do want to be able to hide some choice responses (especially typos). They can still be counted toward the overall response limit.

Was the ability to delete irrelevant responses ever implemented?
I don't care if those deleted responses still count toward the total, that's fine. What we want is for the final product to be useful and meaningful and not include test responses, mistakes, or other irrelevant & bad data.

We need this desperately since we have several where they just got in and entered the first question out of 40 questions and it kept it as a response. Allow us to delete responses by up to 10 or base it on % of engagement.
In the meantime can you delete specific responses on a given survey with 40 questions for us? I hope so. -

The would be a great solution, to allow 5-10 deletes! Thank you!

This is needed fro when some joker in the room sends in a swear or inappropriate question.
It would take more time($) for someone to delete enough responses to really affect pricing tiering.
Best,

Please allow a few deletes. We have a problem where someone did some test answers prior to running a poll. Now we've run the poll many times (well <500 responses though, not close to the limit) but those initial test answers are still there and making the summary charts show up w/inaccurate data. We were never able to find a way prior to running the poll for real how to clear all the data, and now we have too much data for us to want to do that (even if we could figure out how to clear all responses, which btw we still can't figure out)

I also need the ability to delete poll responses when students post items when students post irrelevant items. I know that I can have set the poll to automatically censor, but that does not consider new slang terms that the filter does not know about, or items that I don't want showing when I show the students again the next day.

At least give us a chance to delete a run. I may run through a test and before going live. I don't want this run to mixed with the final runs...
