  1. Integration with Google Drive

Hey Poll Everywhere!! I absolutely love this product and have used it many times during sessions that I lead with teachers and administrators around the state of Michigan as an ed tech consultant. The issue is that I'm a Google Gal all the way...in fact, I'm even a Google Glass Explorer! Any chance you'll be integrating your services with Google Drive anytime soon so that one could embed polls into Google Presentations? That would be awesome sauce right there.

    Cheers!

  2. The clickable images need a response counter in the bottom corner

I absolutely love the clickable images. One problem though is that the number of responses only show up in the regions I've selected to count, and I generally hide those initially so that students can't click where everyone else is clicking. But then there is no tally of responses like on other polls when the results are hidden. I'd love to see a corner tally just like other polls, so I know about when to reveal the click locations/location tallies.

We have it! We have a total response counter for clickable image polls. You may now hide the click markers, the clickable regions, and display a general count for the number of total responses for the poll. Here’s how:

    1. Click on the title of the poll question to open it
    2. Click on the Visual Settings menu – the grey paintrbush icon on the top right
    3. Then click the checkbox for “Show total results” at the bottom

This will display the total number of responses on the bottom right of the poll display.

  5. Create an option to set "Hide Results" as the default screen

"Show Chart" is the current default when going full screen. I don't like to show all the live answers students submit because they'll usually just pick what everyone else is picking. I keep "Hide Results" displayed until all results are submitted, then switch over to "Show Chart" to discuss the results.

    Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your interest and feedback!

This is currently possible. Just toggle the Hide Results on. Next time you visit that poll question, it’ll be in the hidden results view by default.

  6. Create a new poll from open ended responses

How can I select the best responses from one poll and then ask my students which response was the best?

  7. I LOVE PE. Color combinations on the web pages are an issue.

Sometimes the color combinations on your pages are hard to read. For example, the current notification of some new feature was broadcast in a big red banner across the top of the web page and the red banner had black text. This is VERY hard to read. You need to use contrasting colors.

    Thanks

You know what? You’re so right. I’m going to fix that right now.

We have a background color that’s changing from light grey to red the closer we get to the deadline. The contrast started out OK, but now it’s bad.

  8. Use QR Codes

    Hi

An idea to get users to easily browse to the relevant private link for a specific poll is to make a QR code display as part of the poll instructions. That way the the user can easily take a picture of the slide and get the direct link on their phone.

Then they also don't need to enter a complicated code.

    For example see here:

    Just an idea.

    Regards

    Louis

  9. Bulk Poll Management

Treating poll groups as "polls," and polls as "poll questions" would make my life easier. The ability to do bulk management, e.g., start/stop/clear results/get summary data on a whole group of polls would streamline management of polling.

In other words, what the system calls "polls" are in practice "poll questions," and what the system calls "groups" are in practice "polls" with multiple questions. We are piloting this in a classroom for test preparation and review. An instructor wants to run through a series of 10 questions in class, download the summary results (which are more useful than the detailed results),…

  10. Any plans to make a voting iPhone app?

I think an iPhone app would be a really neat way for users to interact with Poll Everywhere.

  11. Crowdsourcing Business Idea

I am a IT and telecoms architect pretty well versed in the Everything 2.0 paradigm and have a crowdsourcing business idea around polling and market research. Are you open for a conversation? How does one get in touch?

  12. Suggested reporting enhancements

Suggested reporting enhancements: 1) in the CSV, note when multiple responses are from the same person (and group them in some way); 2) include the source (web, mobile device, poll4.com, etc.) in the report

  13. Add upload capability

I would like to see PE add upload capability.

I would like to be able to review test questions with my students but don't want to have to retype all questions.

If an upload format could be established it would be great to cut and paste from an existing multiple choice test into PE for presentation of questions to a class.

Maybe the format could be question/first answer/second answer/third answer etc.

Great idea! This was such a great idea (and frequent request), that we’ve already taken care of it.

    http://blog.polleverywhere.com/poll-c...

Copy and paste from a text editor

    Ex:

What is your favorite color? red, green, blue

How awesome is Poll Everywhere? Really Awesome, Super Awesome, Kinda Awesome

  14. How can I delete naughty responses?

Joker students ruin my open ended questions. I have a paid account but not one that enables moderation.
