How can we improve Poll Everywhere?

Set up LTI integration with Sakai LMS

We have a number of faculty at Notre Dame who ask us each semester when Poll Everywhere will be integrated with Sakai. I'm sure other Sakai schools would have an interest in this integration as well (list of Sakai schools: https://sakaiproject.org/community).

I know you already have integrations with Blackboard and Canvas. If you created this integration for Canvas with LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability http://www.imsglobal.org/lti/), then creating one for Sakai would be very easy. We would be very interested in helping you to accomplish this integration with Sakai and would offer you the use of our Sakai test server if needed and assist in the testing. We are working with multiple publishers and other vendors on LTI integrations as well and would love to add Poll Everywhere to our list of tools that integrate with Sakai.

    Roger Williams University would definitely increase utilization of Poll Everywhere if it was integrated into our Sakai instance.

    Yes, that would be really useful especially for our large lecture halls.

    For our institution that has still pc pentium 3 - there are some difficulties to get linked - maybe in relation to the limited band width or unstable access point

    I've used PollEverywhere several times in my own course, but would really like to leverage it to better get feedback from particular students - being able to know which of them voted for what. I esp. like how I can use it during presentations - to get live feedback during instruction - and doing so really helps the rest of my students learn from each other. I'd love it if you'd consider adding in the LTI integration.

    I work at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, which uses Sakai, and I am currently working on investigating PollEverywhere as an alternative to the classroom response tech we already use at our institution. This would be excellent if this could be integrated.

    Here at Northeast Ohio Medical University we'd love to see an integration! Used by some of our faculty and if it were integrated in Sakai I'm sure many more.

    We also have a number of faculty using Poll Everywhere at Rutgers U. I'm certain that we'd have more if it was integrated into Sakai.

    Unless the Poll Everywhere LTI integration uses and requires extensions beyond the standard - this should be trivial.
