  1. Ignore anonymous polls when creating report

Currently, if you select a folder with multiple polls in it to create a report from, if one of them was set to record answers anonymously, the report creation simply fails and tells you that it couldn't do it because there was an anonymous poll. It would make a lot more sense for it to ignore the anonymous poll and succeed in creating a report from the others (and provide a warning message that it didn't include the anonymous polls). Currently, the only work-around is to go into the folder and select each non-anonymous poll by hand. You can't…

  2. Q & A question type - make 'load new responses' refresh button either more contrast or larger

Currently, I didn't realize there was this 'Load New Responses' button as an audience member on the Q & A question after I submitted my response. See screenshot.

Might be helpful to make it larger or a different color or bolder border around button.

  3. Add Activities to Reports

Add the ability to add an activity to a report. To streamline using Poll Everywhere to take attendance, if I could create one report for attendance and then add my new attendance activity to the report and update the report.

Currently, the only way we found to make this work was to create a folder with all attendance activities for the entire semester. However, this ends up showing students as failing because the percentage is taking into account all of the activities - even those never run.

I'd like a simple way to take attendance and sync it to my…

  4. Segmented polls for responses across groups

A colleague described a use case that I think would be great for PollEv but that isn't yet supported. This colleague's goal was to do a "fist of 5" exercise across a large number of participants in a meeting, but to segment that response by teams. For example, someone could select which team they're in and also respond to the question, and the responses could be grouped according to the selection on that question.

Implementation-wise, I think this could be accomplished by allowing someone to add a "segmentation" or "grouping" or similar to an activity's settings for viewing the results,…

  5. Using Keynote on the iPad as a Keynote Remote to the Keynote presentation on another device

I am often presenting using Apples Keynote and I really like the real-time integration of PollEv results in my slides. Especially nowadays with lots of online presentations I am using my iPad with Keynote as Keynote Remote because I can use the Apple Pencil as marker on the slides. It would be great if the results of my polls would also integrate into slides when presenting via Keynote Remote (iPad) on my Mac.

  6. Make it more obvious that you need to mark an answer as correct

I'm a new user. When I went to create my first polls, I assumed that the answers had all been automatically marked as correct because there were check marks next to each of them. The result was all kinds of problems. My polls didn't work at all.

I didn't realize that I needed to click a check mark to create a green background and mark the answer as correct. That interface behavior is not standard and not obvious.

    Suggestions:

    1. Provide two clickable options, with a check mark for correct and an "X" for incorrect. Then it should be far more…

  7. Make it possible to use Poll Everywhere in a Slack workflow, for daily morning poll for example

It would be nice to be able to use Poll Everywhere in a Slack workflow. My team would like to use this feature to launch morning poll asking about the priorities of the day. It would be the best solution for us, rather than a regular post, as it would make it automated (send this question every Monday morning ie) and would be easy super easy to fill for the team.

  8. Answers in multiple choice with Latex parts are shown in much larger font. Why?

Why do answers in multiple choice questions with latex ($$ text $$) parts show up in much larger fonts? There seems to be no way to control that. I notice that, in your online instructions for using latex to do math at https://support.polleverywhere.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260801547070-Math-equations-and-science-formulas, the resulting displayed question has the same problem - the font size for answers with latex is much bigger. Very distracting.

  9. Include poll number at start of screenshot filenames

When I create folders of polls, I put them in the order I want. I then download screenshots of the polls in each folder. When I do so, I want the polls to stay in the same order. In the old way of generating screenshots, the poll number was included at the start of the filename. I would like this functionality restored.

  10. Participation% total for course

Please add a running total for all polls used in the course, students want to know what proportions of polls they have answered so they know how they are doing. Professors are using Polleverywhere for participation. This total participation % should be easy to sync with LMS with a click or on a daily/weekly automated schedule.

Thanks for your suggestion! While we don’t have a running total currently, you can get participation % by:
    1. Importing your course roster from your LMS to Poll Everywhere
    2. Creating a Gradebook report for each activity you used in class on a regular basis (like daily or weekly)
    3. Filtering that Gradebook report by the Participant Group
    4. Exporting the Gradebook report to the LMS and selecting to send Participation rather than Correctness.

Let me know if that helps. We appreciate your feedback!

  11. Notification when someone requests to join the account

It would be helpful for the account owner to receive an email notification when someone uses the request to join feature rather than relying on periodically checking the manager users admin section.

  12. Histograms for multiple right answer questions should show % of respondents, not % of responses

When I have a multiple right answer question, I want to know how many of my 400 students chose each answer.
Currently the histogram shows the percentage of the total responses for each option.
I'd love the option to switch this so the histogram shows the percentage of STUDENTS who chose each option.

  13. Bug: Renamed Activity Title is not saved

Issue: Renamed Activity Title is not saved
Repro: Create a new Activity; configure the activity with no text message response; save it; edit the activity; re title the activity; add the ability for a text response; save.
The title of the activity reverts back to the original name.

Expectation: The re titled name should be saved.

  14. pollev app for Zoom marketplace

Several other mobile polling apps are now available as apps in the Zoom marketplace, but I can't find pollev there. It would be very useful if poll everywhere would also create an app so that polls, etc. could be completed from within the Zoom meeting! https://marketplace.zoom.us/

  15. Screenshot of Clickable Image Polls uses Responses/Region

There is new functionality that allows one to select responses or regions when displaying a clickable image poll.

I would like the screenshot feature to show whatever is used on the live poll. So if I have selected regions, then it shows regions.

  16. Competition with open

    Competition with open-ended answers.

I want to use competition in a music quiz. Let the audience listen to a song and let them answer the question about that song. The faster you give the right answer the more points. And no peeking about answers from other players on screen during the remaining time.

  18. Display "view responses" in order

Display "view responses" for participants in order that survey was given; not time question was answered. Also allow participants to view individual surveys, not just a running tab of all answers. Currently, this is difficult for students to check their work and it is difficult for them to use "view responses" as a "key" or study guide for future reference.

  19. Add other options to Competition Feature

Right now you can only use multiple choice in the competition feature. It would be great if you could add in other types like clickable image and any others that could have "correct" answers.

  20. Display results below the question (where everybody expects them) rather than above

After the submission of the response, the results for the responses of all other respondents are displayed above the question. This is highly problematic on a smartphone because on a small screen, the respondent does not notice that the content above the question (which is not visible on a small screen) has changed. Moreover, showing the results on such an unexpected place forces the respondents to scroll back to have a look at the answers. I would like to move the results from the top to the bottom of the page (below instead of above the question) to make sure…
