Is your audience generally responding by the web on their phones or are they responding by text message?
I ask because we have a longterm goal (hopefully sometime this year) to add the countdown time to the web response page on the audience’s phone and to have this timer work with screenreader and other accessibility devices. Do you think that would solve the problem?

I have license for Poll Everywhere from my uni, but I have never used it. Why? Because they never listen... there were lots (A LOT!!! Search yourself) of requests about "putting a background music" when learners choosing their answers, and count down to make it more fun. They declined. If you care... FIRE the product marketers or the product manager. They do not listen, and the product dooms to failed
