Enable QR Codes?
Would be great if a QR Code could be displayed next to my unique URL of PollEv.com/mrztechtv since my audience could scan the QR code instead of typing in the short URL. Thanks for considering!
We have added a new Beta feature to add some support for QR codes. It is fully functional and supported, but remains in beta because it does not currently work for Competitions.
You can enable this feature here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/labs
Once the QR Code feature is enabled for you account when you open a poll you should see a small QR code next to the response instructions on the chart. If you click this QR icon → a QR code will expand to show on the entire screen.
Anyone in your audience may then use any standard QR code reader on their phones to navigate to your pollev.com/username page
Furthermore, you may download the image for your QR code and add that as a slide in PowerPoint if you have your own instructions for the audience. You can download this image at polleverywhere.com/profile/edit
Hope this helps!

I used Pollev on my google slides. An QR code was automatically generated. However, when I scanned it, it said activity not exist or deleted, which was very disappointing. I have logged into my Pollev account in google slides and activated the poll in the Pollev website. The poll was available through the website but not the QR code. I hope this could be improved.

Rather than downloading the app or going to the website, Poll Everywhere should assign a QRC code. This way, I can simply put the QRC code into the slide deck, the participants can scan, and then immediately be connected to the poll.
No delay in downloading the app. No delay in going to a website. No delay or mistyping the access code. One picture and you are in!

Another alternative is to embed your polls in PowerPoint. You could place the QR code on the same slide and have more control of the sizing.

Yes I'm aware of the QR code sites, I often use QRstuff.com I attempted to place the QR code I made as a logo within the instructions of a poll and it did appear, but I think is too small to work from a great distance (school auditorium). I might try placing the QR code graphic as the background though...unsure if it would be blocked too much from the responses popping up. I'll experiment!
