More options for runs of polls
I'd like to use the same poll multiple times during the semester, but I have 3 sections. It is a poll asking students how they are doing - sort of taking the pulse on the class.
I want each class to see their own section's results live, but then look at the data in aggregate the next day.
Right now, I run the poll, click "clear results" etc.
When I look at the report, I select "all runs" to get the whole day's worth of data.
Here's the problem: when I do this again, I still have all the results from the last class because "all runs" also includes the last class period. As I keep using this, it will accumulate more and more stale results that I'm not using.
Right now, I can work around this by using the Pivot Table, which includes response time, but this requires an extra step to filter out old results and also is likely take longer as the results add up (I have 100 students total, so each time I do it, I add 100 responses).
Another workaround is to create a new poll every time, even though I'm asking the same question.
Ideally, I'd like an additional drop down besides "Current Run" and "All Data" I think. Perhaps it could filter by date? "Responses received since X"
Yeah! Whenever you clear or archive multiple poll questions at once you can name your run. This will create a Shared Run which you can then report upon. You can then run reports on these shared runs for a specific class OR over All Runs to see how everyone has done.
You can see more details for exactly how to do this here: https://polleverywhere.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/764091
