LaTeX(Beamer) presenter app
It would be nice if it was possible to embed polls in LaTeX Beamer based presentations, which are used heavily by some educators in Computer Science, Math and Natural Sciences.
Hmm, interesting. We do have some LaTeX integration to allow formulas and equations in the answer choices for multiple choice polls. You can read about the specifics for this here: http://polleverywhere.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/163071-picture-images-and-equations-as-options
We’ll have to look a bit more into how the API for this will work with us. We’re a company of engineers and Comp Sci people so, we’re always interested in LaTeX

The poll everywhere app would also be VERY useful in economic presentations. Social scientists are using beamer a lot more.

I'm considering building my own poll system with beamer integration this summer in the event I have to teach online again this Fall. Not sure if you are interested in hiring me as a consultant this summer as it would likely be easier to just focus on integrating your existing platform into beamer than building my own polling system/web backend as well. Let me know... but I agree this would be a useful feature.
Not sure how else to reach out other than posting here about it.

Just another upvote for this.... Latex Beamer is used everywhere in Mathematics and some integration would be very useful.

The best option I found so far that allows me to include polls in LaTeX beamer presentations without having to switch back and forth between my presentation and a poll (I want the poll IN the presentation) is to use swipe.to. I simply import my whole beamer presentation to swipe.to and then add the polls. It is even possible to add maths in the poll question, but — unfortunately — not in the choice options.
