PLEASE do not discontinue the important "segmentation" feature
It is awful news that you intend to discontinue the useful and important “segmentation” feature that allows to display results by groups and thus, to conduct team competitions:

Why do you plan to discontinue such an important and useful feature at short notice and without even giving a reason?
The segmentation feature is what made me choose Polleverywhere over other competitors. If it is no longer available, I am forced to switch to another provider (Mentimeter is now offering the segmentation feature). I cannot continue my subscription beyond the current licensing period if you discontinue this vital feature in the ucoming weeks (the only feature that made you stand out from a host of other competitors).
Please reconsider this terrible decision!

I just discovered this in preparation for a lecture I'm giving this afternoon. I don't blame you for the timing, but this is a terrible decision. Segmentation is an incredibly useful tool that allows you to enlighten audiences with the limiting conditions or variables that affect responses. It's the best way to offer nuance to help people understand the factors that motivate responses. Please bring it back!

If you are also affected by Polleverywhere's incomprehensible and self-defeating decision to abort the segmentation feature: Crowdpurr, Mentimeter and AhaSlides are offering it.

The desire to "support other initiatives" it not a convincing reason to discontinue your most valuable feature and the only one that distinguishes you from your competitors. For me, the segmentation feature was the only reason to choose one of your more expensive plans (for which you still incorrectly claim the addition of this feature on https://www.polleverywhere.com/account/plans/business-and-non-profit ). I have therefore now decided to downgrade my Polleverywhere account and to switch to another provider (Crowdpurr is offering the lacking segmentation feature).

I agree, the segmentation feature is one of the most interesting options in PollEV please don't get rid of it. In fact, please add to it, namely by making the segmentation visible in at least the Executive Report.

The decision to deprecate segmentation was made in order to support other large initiatives that will improve the presenter experience through better functionality, accessibility and overall design interface.
