Thanks for your feedback! You’re not alone in asking for this functionality. However, we don’t have any plans on allowing converting between different activity types, mostly due to data integrity concerns.

Easy way to convert multiple choice questions into a completion activity. Currently having to ass both which is a waste of time.

I agree! We have many polls that we've been using in courses over the past few years that we'd love to convert into competitions or copy into competitions. It would save a lot of time if we could do this, rather than re-type all of these existing questions.
