I just downloaded the extension. I see the tab in my google slides menu but when I click it I only see a gray box and it won't allow me to insert the poll into my presentation.

Would it be possible to have access to a beta version for a presentation I need to deliver next Thursday?

I agree. My school system has moved entirely to Google drive for file storage, and while we still have access to MS PowerPoint, it is an old and clunky version. i would love to make better use of Poll Everywhere in my class; embedded slides would make it far easier!
