Character limit
Add function to limit characters (e.g. 50 characters, or 10 words)

I don't understand why this limit is still in place. The "run out of screen real estate" concern does not make sense to me; if the answers are single words/letters, there is plenty of room. 255 characters is just not enough for a complex question. It is especially frustrating when I try to make a minor edit on a poll created BEFORE this limit was created (so the poll Q is well above 255 characters) and find I cannot.

Yes, please increase or remove the character limit! I am a professor and my questions are much longer than what is allowed. Alternatively allow users to upload an image with a longer question.
