Poll Export
CSV import/export of poll questions. Or any way to export poll questions at all.
Thanks for the feedback all. There are a few different workarounds that might work for you all, but we don’t have anything explicitly for this.
We do have a CSV importer to import poll questions. You can read about that here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/support/articles/create-activities/import-questions
For students who missed class or just for generally sharing the content: I recommend either our Bulk Screenshot tool or maybe printing out an Executive Summary report.
- the bulk screenshot tool will take screenshots of up to 10 polls that can then be shared via email or any other way that works for you. To do this: Go to the Polls page → select the polls you want → Click the grey Download button at the top → select Screenshots.
For exporting to CSV for records or internal purposes, I recommend using our Pivot Response Table report and then exporting that to CSV. That will create a spreadsheet which includes the Title and Answer Choices for all of the selected polls. You can then just delete the columns/rows of unnecessary data.
Otherwise, I’ll bring this up to the team and see if anyone has some good ideas.

Please allow for more than ten polls to be exported at once. We export screenshots of every poll question, and it is inefficient to have to manually select ten polls at a time when there are more than that in a given group.

Hi. I've had faculty request this at our university. The use case is when a student misses part of the lecture or for some reason was not able to respond to polls in class, the professor would like to give them a paper version of the question(s). This would probably be more a feature request for faculty who grade polling activity. (Side note: when we were looking at various polling options before going with Poll Everywhere, one company offered a "save as" pdf option for their questions and, surprisingly, faculty seemed to really like this. I think for people who are nervous to try a new technology, having an alternative format option feels like a safety net.)

I agree, this would be a useful addition for backups as well as bulk sharing, editing and re-use of polls

(1) Would it help when managing accounts? If I downgrade for a semester, will there be features that I lose? If so, then I'd be able export before the downgrade and then import them when I upgrade the account back to my previous level.
(2) Could it help me (a) share polls with other users and/or (b) use a word-processor or spreadsheet to make whole sale changes?
