We switched from Flash to HTML5 so we’re closer, but.. we haven’t cracked this problem yet, and it seems Apple wants to make it impossible.

This is will be possible in the future, but it may be a while. Here’s why:

Currently our live charts are Flash based. This has several advantages and disadvantages. (One being the iPad doesn’t support Flash.) AT the time of their creation Flash was simply the best option.

In the future we would like to change to HTML 5 charts. We actually currently support some very basic HTML 5 charts for the iPad. You can see these by opening a poll in Safari on the iPad. Now, this doesn’t mean you’ll be able to embed polls in a Keynote on an iPad. Keynote is far from open-source. I imagine we may offer a solution similar to our current Mac Presenter Application for the iPad in the future. www.polleverywhere.com/macpresenter
