How to respond instriuction
The current instruction isn't clear to many people I tried it on. It coudl be something like this:
Start a text message and type: 123456, a blank space, and your message. Send it to 37607.
We have some great documentation on best practices here: www.polleverywhere.com/presenter-notes
Check it out!

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the feedback! We've gone through several renditions of the 'instruction' on polls. The current rendition is the one that showed the best results in our testing. There are couple things to balance including keeping it as short as possible to not take up too much space as well as making the instructions translate well across voting mediums (text, twitter, web).
It often depends on how 'tech-savy' your participants are, but we find the learning curve is pretty quick. With a new audience, I suggest starting the event or presentation with a fun ice-breaker poll. This let's people get the hang of it with an informal and 'low-pressure' question. More tips can be found here: http://www.polleverywhere.com/presenter-notes
Thanks again!
Steve
