I just purchased a new iPad Pro to replace my laptop. Could you please make the software compatible with this device? Thanks
I’d love to see this software be compatible with the iPad Pro. Thanks.4 votes
We’re happy to see interest for using Poll Everywhere with iPads. We are working on a presenter app for iPads and Android tablets.
You can get early access to our beta here: https://www.polleverywhere.com/tablet-beta
Or, just check it out at beta.polleverywhere.com on your iPad. I will note that this app is in Beta and active development. We hope to have it fully out later this year.
The current segmentation feature doesn't allow me to view a live visual of which team is in the lead. It would be nice if there was a live view that could be embedded into PowerPoint.12 votes
We are very close to releasing our brand new Competitions feature. It is a quiz activity that will show a leaderboard for each individual participant.
We’ll be sending out a large announcement upon it’s release in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
We often have classes that utilize multiple professors. They would like to be able to share polls, powerpoint slide decks, and class data more easily for a single class. Account delegation for at least poll execution rights would probably be able to solve this use-case completely.17 votes
We are still very early in the project, however we have begun working on ways to allow one person to create a poll → share it with one or more other presenters on their account → and allow those other presents to present and receive responses (but not edit) those poll questions.
We’ll post more here as we get further in the project and more details.
When using the Poll Everywhere extension within presentation mode of Google Slides, the timer is actually hidden behind the Google Slides toolbar in the lower left corner of the screen. When you attempt to manipulate the timer, you cannot make any changes to it because the Google Slides toolbar covers it every time the cursor gets near the timer. If there were a setting to select the position of the timer or if it could freely be moved, that would solve the problem.6 votes
I’m sorry about the trouble with our Google Slides integration. Thank you for bringing this up to us. This looks like a bug on our end. We should have a fix for this with our next update to our Chrome Extension for Google Slides.
We’ll send you an email when that is coming out.
Thanks for bringing this up!
Allow multiple correct answers in a poll, without allowing multiple votes for the same answer.20 votes
We have begun working on the feature. You can actually try it out right now to see a bit of how it works!
Go to Settings > Labs > and click the box for “Disable duplicate responses”
You can also just go to this linK: https://www.polleverywhere.com/labs
You will then have a setting on your Multiple Choice Polls that will prevent your participants from submitting the same response multiple times when you allow multiple votes.
Note: currently, this beta feature only works for web responses from pollev.com. We are working on the SMS and Twitter aspects next.
Let us know what you think!
Currently you can include pictures in the question for Multiple Choice questions. This is sometimes a useful feature in brainstorm and all other question types. Even clickable image (show a picture in the question, click on the most important difference you see on the second image). Or on brainstorming show a picture in the question and brainstorm the best description for the image and people can up/down vote.5 votes
This isn’t available for all the of the poll types, but we did add handling for a companion image for Multiple Choice Polls and Ranking Polls. You can see some more details for these here:
