Default the PPT presentation back to the Instructions tab automatically after clearing responses (versus the Correctness tab)!!
When an instructional designer creates a PE question and adds it to PPT, it seems that the system automatically displays the last-viewed tab at the bottom of the PE slide when ran through in real-time. That means, that if an instructor did a 'dry run' of the presentation to 'practice,' there is a good chance the last-viewed slide is the Correctness tab or answer slide. It would be great if we could add a quick popup upon clearing responses if the system could ask something like, "Would you like to update the last-viewed slide to the Instructions tab and clear all responses?" The options could be Yes and No. If Yes, clear all responses and set the last-viewed state of each tab to be the Instructions tab. If No, make the last viewed slide persist and still clear all responses.
Thank you for the great feedback! We totally understand the pain point here. If you head to Account settings > Activity settings, you'll find the option to set the default to showing instructions vs results.
I've shared your feedback internally and we're reviewing the option to add a confirmation message.

Another option for this functionality would be to have a bulk setting for tab status of folders/activities in the Activities tab as currently exists for lock/unlock and clear responses.
For instance, at the end of a semester to reset the activities for the next semester, we currently bulk clear the responses and unlock the tabs. This takes <30 sec/class and is very efficient. But we need to individually set activities back to the instructions slide/tab to prepare to use again across all classes which takes literal hours for classes with lots of activities. Having this functionality would be so efficient/save so much time.

Could you design a “put all polls to the instruction mode” button in the PPT Add-in? And also on the website? Right now, we have to do this one by one. I know we can use the “engagement” slides, but most people do not like to insert three slides for one poll….

There is an account setting that I could find amongst the option spagetti: https://support.polleverywhere.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260801545590 (show instructions or results) for me it had no default so I had to change it to Instructions. I support academic staff and it is definitely something that pulls down the whole PE experience I feel. Within academia I would imagine that most people want to avoid 'groupthink' or revealing the correct answer, and also within business I would imagine that the tool would make most sense starting from Instructions. There is that 'Activity Flow' Insert option but that takes up like three slides in a slide deck which can considerably overload a PC with like 30 interactive questions. I miss our old solution

I would add to vote for the default view to always be the Instructions tab to ensure previous responses or % correct values aren't showing.

This would really help our team and be a huge time savings!!
