I agree, I'd prefer to say send a text to #### with the message <CODE>, people try to type the code as who they want to send to. Tech writing style: instructions should always have the location and then the action for clarity. In X location, do Y.

The French instructions for answering a poll are not clear at all. I would rather include my own instructions.
