Integrate with Microsoft Teams as an app

There is a strong need to be able to control the forum of people voting/comment but doing so in an anonymous way. There is no great way to do this in Microsoft Teams and the only apps available that support this are TinyPulse and other competitors. Microsoft Teams is important because it's used in enterprise scenarios and already can control access to various groups etc.

I use PollEverywhere regularly with my organization of almost 100 people. Being able to extend it's usage to garner feedback asynchronously and anonymously outside of meeting rooms and presentations would really take it to the next level.

Our partners at Microsoft have completed the custom API work we needed to fully integrate. Development is finishing this week for our first iteration for an MS Teams integration. This first iteration will allow creating, presenting, and replying to multiple choice activities within MS Teams. Support for our other activity types will be added over time depending on interest.

We will be contacting everyone who signed up for early information at http://polleverywhere.com/microsoft-teams once testing is completed.

We expect this to be completed before the end of August. However, a lot can happen during testing. For example, if another API issue arises like before, we will have to go back and work with Microsoft’s engineering team to complete. Stay tuned for updates. Thanks!

We’re working with Microsoft directly as we needed their assistance to create the integration the way we wanted. We are still working on the first iteration of this project and will announce to everyone that has expressed interest when it is finished.

Are you able to provide an estimated date on when this will come to fruition? Many are looking into various polling/voting apps in regards to virtual learning. Should I wait for PollEverywhere or look to a competitor?
