"Presenter View" support in PowerPoint
Is there any way to support presenter view in PowerPoint? I'd love to be able to see one slide ahead instead of just mirroring my presentation when I have my laptop plugged into the projector. Currently the polls display but not in the correct location on the slide...they will be off center or even overlayed on the presenter view screen instead of on the slideshow.
Thanks!
Well, this is tough. Presenter View is not specifically supported, however we do usually work with it. We do have a workaround setting that we can apply if you are using PowerPoint for Mac. If that’s the case, please contact us at support@polleverywhere.com and we can walk you through our “Force Monitor” feature.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a similar workaround for Windows. I opened a request with our Windows Slideware team to investigate if there’s something we could do as a workaround in the short-term. Otherwise, Microsoft does not have Presenter View available in the API (integration format) that we use. So, for us to fully with Presenter View we’ll need to do some reverse engineering to figure out what kind of math the Microsoft engineers are using here. Which is just tough for us.
I’ll see what the team thinks and try to get another update on here soon. In the meantime, if anyone has Presenter View problems please contact us at support@polleverywhere.com – if we can get some more details about what version of PowerPoint you are using we may be able to resolve the issue faster.

As of 10/26/2020 this is still an issue. All comments below recommending turning off Presenter View is the answer -- I also had to set the Monitor to "Primary". In the Ribbon click "Slide Show" > and in the Monitors section for Monitor select "Primary Monitor" and uncheck the box to "Use Presenter View". Good luck!

We just started having this problem after we migrated to PowerPoint in Office 365.

Still seeing this issue in a ballroom today. With a PC in presenter mode, the Power Point slides are perfectly scaled but the Poll Anywhere slides are not scaling correctly. Have there been any changes/updates? This thread is 2 years old :/

still seems to be a problem? Scaling is set at 100% yet the slides are off centre and cut off...

This used to work last spring with Powerpoint 2010 and the then-current version of PollEv. It does not work with Powerpoint 2016 and current PolEv.
In addition to the weird formatting, all slides disappear from my screen (it shows up on the projected screen) once a poll has run. I can see the thumbnail of the next slide on my screen plus the notes, but not the slide that is projected. -

I'm having the same issue. I've tried turning off presenter view and I've also reset DPI to 100% (from the recommended 125%) and the issue is the same. The slide goes off the top and bottom (and sides, depending on resolutions settings) of the screen. This is a relatively new problem that I first noticed about a month ago. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension and see if that fixes it.

I would highly recommend anyone that is having display issues in Presenter View to send a support email to our experts at support@polleverywhere.com -> they'll be able to ask some clarifying questions to get to the root of the problem for you all. Normal response time will be within one business day

I used to use PPT in Browse by an individual and Poll EV worked awesome. Now it doesn't work unless I am in the presented by a speaker mode. My Poll would show up off of the screen.

It is also possible that some of you might be experiencing a DPI issue common with Windows 10. It's a non-standard Windows setting to increase the size of the font on certain monitors.
This setting can be a bit tricky to find, as they seem to rename it with every new iteration of Windows. Here is a good article about how to address this setting in: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/443-dpi-display-size-settings-change.html
You will want the DPI scaling/Text scaling set to 100%.

Same here - it used to work. I am using powerpoint 2016 and the polleverywhere slides present off center and between screens. Can't figure out how to fix.

I have the same problem. It hasn't always been like that. I used to be able to use PollEV in presenter view mode.
