Improve reporting for clickable image polls
Results for clickable image polls are currently documented in reports using percentages. The participant's selection is noted as a percentage of the image as a whole.
It would be awesome if the user was able to identify the defined regions of a clickable image poll in a report. This could be done by numbering the regions as they are defined by the user, or by allowing the user to name the regions as they are created. The goal being to make the results of the report more clear by noting the user defined region of the clicked response.
Done! All new regions on clickable image polls will be assigned a readable name by default (Region 1, Region 2….) Furthermore, you can edit the name of a clickable region on new or existing clickable image polls from the Edit menu. Click the new Pencil icon on the top right of the click region.
You can see the details for how here: https://polleverywhere.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/943315
The basics:
1. Create your Clickable Image Poll or click on the title of an existing one to open it
2. Click the Edit button on the bottom right of the page
3. Click somewhere on the image > a small box or “click region” will appear. You may resize this box and drag it to the appropriate place on the image. You can create as many of these regions as you like.
By default, we will name them regions 1, 2, 3….4. Click the pencil icon on the top right of the box to give the region a name
5. Once you’ve made your click regions > click Save and you’re ready to present your poll and get responses
After your presentation you can create one of our Reports and we’ll have the selected region listed. These named regions will also appear on the CSV download and gradebook reports. If a participant clicks Outside a defined region > then we will list the coordinates of the selected click.

This is great!! Participants love the clickable images polls, but it was just too difficult to report. Massive improvement, much appreciated :)

Hi Brian, any update on this? It would be useful if when you add a box over the image you could add some sort of text (which we can change) which is not visible to the participants. But when the data is pulled it shows the output as text not as a percent.

Oh yes, please! And I prefer the option to give each region an individual name. By doing so, I can decide myself how to to the report. Then, each region should be reported just like a multiple choice question - each region would be presented just like one multiple choice option. All other clicks which are not inside a region should be reported like "other".
Please GO FOR IT!

We are using Pollev every day across the globe with our clients and the need for improving the reporting for clickable image polls is critical.
As the purpose of polling is to be able to provide the client with meaningful visual data afterwards around the issues we have been training on- the inability to do this easily is quite problematic,
We do hope you will address this immediately.

Hello,
It would be useful if the image polls would show the output as text of what is in the instead of the percentage of the area.
