scroll
Make scroll bar bigger when presenting Open Text response questions. Currently when presenting polls on Chrome or Firefox the right scroll bar (see screenshots) is very, very, thin, and difficult to click on to scroll.

Include poll number at start of screenshot filenames
When I create folders of polls, I put them in the order I want. I then download screenshots of the polls in each folder. When I do so, I want the polls to stay in the same order. In the old way of generating screenshots, the poll number was included at the start of the filename. I would like this functionality restored.

Participation% total for course
Please add a running total for all polls used in the course, students want to know what proportions of polls they have answered so they know how they are doing. Professors are using Polleverywhere for participation. This total participation % should be easy to sync with LMS with a click or on a daily/weekly automated schedule.
92 votesThanks for your suggestion! While we don’t have a running total currently, you can get participation % by:
1. Importing your course roster from your LMS to Poll Everywhere
2. Creating a Gradebook report for each activity you used in class on a regular basis (like daily or weekly)
3. Filtering that Gradebook report by the Participant Group
4. Exporting the Gradebook report to the LMS and selecting to send Participation rather than Correctness.Let me know if that helps. We appreciate your feedback!

Notification when someone requests to join the account
It would be helpful for the account owner to receive an email notification when someone uses the request to join feature rather than relying on periodically checking the manager users admin section.

Improve Screenshot Options
Your screenshot tool is not intuitive or overly useful. I tried following your instructions to insert activity screen shots into a new PPT, and the inserted slide has blank data.
There is no way to indicate or select a specific run or data set, so if your runs are archived, you can't insert into PPT.
And the screen shot I pull from the Word Cloud activity from the response section isn't usable. The screen shot has the message "no images received" on top the image.
We are holding employee engagement sessions, and asking the same questions multiple times. I was…

Histograms for multiple right answer questions should show % of respondents, not % of responses
When I have a multiple right answer question, I want to know how many of my 400 students chose each answer.
Currently the histogram shows the percentage of the total responses for each option.
I'd love the option to switch this so the histogram shows the percentage of STUDENTS who chose each option.1 voteThank you for your suggestion! We’ll look into this feature as we see more customer interest.

Bug: Renamed Activity Title is not saved
Issue: Renamed Activity Title is not saved
Repro: Create a new Activity; configure the activity with no text message response; save it; edit the activity; re title the activity; add the ability for a text response; save.
The title of the activity reverts back to the original name.Expectation: The re titled name should be saved.

pollev app for Zoom marketplace
Several other mobile polling apps are now available as apps in the Zoom marketplace, but I can't find pollev there. It would be very useful if poll everywhere would also create an app so that polls, etc. could be completed from within the Zoom meeting! https://marketplace.zoom.us/

I’ll also keep you posted with any updates here.

Screenshot of Clickable Image Polls uses Responses/Region
There is new functionality that allows one to select responses or regions when displaying a clickable image poll.
I would like the screenshot feature to show whatever is used on the live poll. So if I have selected regions, then it shows regions.
1 voteThank you for your feedback! We’ll look into this request as we see more customer interest.
In the meantime, I’d recommend using your device’s screenshot function to capture the Clickable image activity with regions.

Bug: Option to Visual Settings Missing in PowerPoint Controller
When I run the activities from the website, i.e. full screen, I can see the option to Visual setting in the controller. But this option is missing when I am inserting the activities into my PowerPoint and presenting the slides.
1 voteThank you for your feedback! Apologies for any inconvenience. We are aware of this and working to resolve it. I will keep you posted here as I get updates from the team.

Competition with open
Competition with open-ended answers.
I want to use competition in a music quiz. Let the audience listen to a song and let them answer the question about that song. The faster you give the right answer the more points. And no peeking about answers from other players on screen during the remaining time.
1 voteThanks for your suggestion! We currently don’t support correctness on open-ended activities, which is why they don’t appear in Competitions, but we will look into this as we see more customer interest.

Sway code embedding
This is not a new idea. I used live slides previously and was able to embed my sway code into power point presentations for live view of sway, however I am not being able to do so with poll everywhere.
Its a very nice and important feature. But not working in poll everywhere now.1 voteThanks for your patience! We are continuing to work on this functionality. In order to embed our URL, Microsoft needs to allow it. You can see a similar request here: https://sway.uservoice.com/forums/264674-sway-suggestion-box/suggestions/40674817-whitelist-request-university-tenancy-level

Display "view responses" in order
Display "view responses" for participants in order that survey was given; not time question was answered. Also allow participants to view individual surveys, not just a running tab of all answers. Currently, this is difficult for students to check their work and it is difficult for them to use "view responses" as a "key" or study guide for future reference.

"Invalid authenticity token" when trying to log in in the chrome app
Hi, there!
I am trying to log into the chrome app to co-create a chrome slide with my colleague. She is logged in already - might that be the problem?
Thanks, Sincerely,
1 voteHi there, apologies for the inconvenience. Can you try logging out of Poll Everywhere and Google Chrome and then logging back in?

Add other options to Competition Feature
Right now you can only use multiple choice in the competition feature. It would be great if you could add in other types like clickable image and any others that could have "correct" answers.

Display results below the question (where everybody expects them) rather than above
After the submission of the response, the results for the responses of all other respondents are displayed above the question. This is highly problematic on a smartphone because on a small screen, the respondent does not notice that the content above the question (which is not visible on a small screen) has changed. Moreover, showing the results on such an unexpected place forces the respondents to scroll back to have a look at the answers. I would like to move the results from the top to the bottom of the page (below instead of above the question) to make sure…

Restrict ability to respond to polls based on the group assignments
I teach several sections of the same class, and would find it helpful not to have to replicate polls for each of the sections. I have the ability to group the students based on sections, so is there a way to assign a poll to a specific group (instead of having to create new polls and deactive old polls)?
6 votesThank you for your suggestion! We’ll look into building the ability to assign activities per participant group as we see more customer interest.

Easier access to Alt text fields when using graphics in questions and answer options.
Just discovered how to access Alt text fields when using graphics in questions and answer options. In these days of WCAG standards and focus on Accessibility, we should not have to go into the backend, through My Settings and find the non-intuitively labelled "Features Lab" as the way in to find and choose to turn on "Image alt-text". This needs to be built into your Poll creation interface in a more intuitive and UX-friendly way. Thanks!
3 votesThank you for your feedback! Image alt text is currently a pre-release feature, which is why it’s in the Features lab at the moment. We do not have a timeline yet, but we are planning to release it more widely.

Respond directly to written poll submissions individually in writing, using the poll, visible to all
I would like there to be a kind of poll (or a modification to the existing Q&A or Open Ended polls) that I can use as a presenter which would allow me to type back responses to the audience submissions that come in! (Example: my pinned Q & A poll is a way for me to let students ask me questions during lecture. Some of them, I answer out loud during lecture. Others, I would like to type a response back to the student for everyone with access to the poll to be able to see.) Ideally, I'd like to…
